RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has maintained its leading position in the global ranking of the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook’s cybersecurity index for 2026. The country’s National Cybersecurity Authority, or NCA, said in a statement that this top ranking was a reflection of the support provided by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The achievement was also the result of their directives to empower the cybersecurity sector as a fundamental pillar of the national security system, it said.
