Zohran Mamdani celebrated with the New York Knicks as he danced with players during the team’s championship parade on Thursday (18 June). On Saturday (13 June), the Knicks clinched the title after beating the San Antonio Spurs, 94-90, in the fifth game of the best-of-seven series. During a victory parade throughout the city, the New York City Mayor performed a dance move with Karl Anthony Towns to Fat Joe’s Lean Back, as delighted fans watched on from the street below. It was the Knicks’ first time winning the championship in over 50 years.
