Emergency services, including three fire brigades, were activated at 1.20pm after reports of the accident, initiating a search in the Tremp and Sort parks. The man was found seriously injured, and fire services provided initial medical care until two Medical Emergency System teams arrived on the scene. Despite the efforts of the emergency responders, the man tragically lost his life due to the injuries sustained in the accident. Catalonia’s autonomous police force, the Mossos d'Esquadra, are investigating the incident, and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is supporting the man's family.
