Gauteng's forensic pathology services risk losing skilled workers due to poor working conditions

The DA has warned that Gauteng's forensic pathology services could be weakened by staff shortages and poor working conditions, calling for a review of the R750 monthly risk allowance paid to workers. The Gauteng Department of Health says the allowance is determined nationally and insists measures are being implemented to strengthen staffing and support services.
