Govt plans financial aid for contractors to provide temporary homes to labourers at project sites

Housing Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced plans to financially assist contractors for temporary labourer housing at project sites, funded by labour cess. The government is also considering mandatory durability certificates for buildings and promoting sustainable practices like waste management and water harvesting.
