EIB buys EUR-20m chunk of Latvenergo's EUR-300m green bond issue
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has purchased EUR 20 million (USD 23.2m) worth of green bonds issued by Latvian state-owned utility Latvenergo, contributing financing for renewable energy and related infrastructure in the Baltic country, the bank said on Wednesday.
