DCS suspends food deliveries to South Camp inmates

The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has suspended, effective immediately, the delivery of food items by visitors to inmates at the South Camp Adult Correctional Centre, the agency said in a statement Tuesday.The suspension will remain in place "until further notice," the DCS said, without specifying a reason for the measure.“The department appreciates the understanding and cooperation of inmates' families, visitors,” the statement added. It said further updates will be provided “as necessary”.
