The UK has announced it will join Australia with a sweeping social media ban for under-16s.

The U.K. seems to be following Australia's lead in banning a wide swath of social media for teens.

The British government has announced a total, nationwide ban on social media access for children under the age of 16.

There may even be a online curfew for under-18s too.

Following in the footsteps of Australia and Canada.

The U.K. is the latest country to announce an under-16 social media ban, as several other nations, such as Australia, have already done so.
