New AI system 'Kartavya' to monitor attendance of Karnataka govt employees - The Economic Times

Karnataka has launched Kartavya, an AI-powered attendance system. This geofencing technology ensures employees are present at their workplace. The system was developed in-house, saving costs and improving security. Chief Minister D K Shivakumar aims for 100 percent attendance and prompt grievance redressal. Kartavya is now being rolled out across government departments, with significant increases in registered employees and daily attendance.
