The severity of these incidents has been underscored by recent fatal head-on collisions on the M90 and M6 motorways. Motoring experts, including Steve Gooding from the RAC Foundation and Edmund King from the AA, are calling for improved safety measures, such as junction re-configurations, advanced technology, and increased driver awareness.
