Phuket Airport launches e-gates for faster immigration clearance - The Economic Times

Phuket International Airport has introduced automated immigration gates for arriving international passengers, a first for Thailand. The airport plans to more than double the number of these autogates to 21, aiming to significantly reduce waiting times and ease congestion. This expansion, currently for e-passport holders, seeks to enhance passenger experience amidst strong tourism demand.
