A police officer was cheered on by Scotland fans after he showed off his football skills outside a World Cup event in Boston. Video shared by the Boston Police Department on Saturday (13 June) shows fans celebrating with the officer after he impressed them with his keepy-uppie skills. The Tartan Army are in the city for their country’s first World Cup match in 28 years. Scotland secured their first World Cup victory in 36 years on Saturday, beating Haiti 1-0 at Boston Stadium.

Those unable to make the trip overcame a 2am kick-off time to cheer Scotland on, with fans coming in their droves to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow to watch the national team.
