A massive fire destroyed approximately 4,000 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in recent state elections at a government building in Kolkata's Alipore area. Firefighters battled the blaze for nearly 24 hours, and authorities are investigating the incident, with the Minister of State for Fire and Emergency Services raising concerns about potential sabotage due to the fire's unusual spread.
