Acclaimed actress Dame Helen Mirren received the exclusive Companion of Honour for her outstanding contributions to drama. Six members of England’s triumphant Lionesses squad, including Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang, were appointed Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for their services to football. Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley were also made MBEs for their respective contributions to music and drama, and charity work. Authors Julia Donaldson and Malorie Blackman were awarded damehoods for their services to literature, while Aardman animation co-founders David Sproxton and Peter Lord received knighthoods.
