The FBI has announced the arrest of Said Abdullahi Ereg, a former Minneapolis grocery and deli owner accused of orchestrating a multimillion-dollar COVID-era fraud scheme. According to federal prosecutors, Ereg allegedly obtained more than $4.2 million through fraudulent claims submitted to the Federal Child Nutrition Program under the Feeding Our Future network. FBI Director Kash Patel called the arrest a historic milestone, marking the first capture from the bureau's newly launched 'Most Wanted Fraudsters' list.
