Special reserve police officer in Trinidad charged with forgery over CXC certificates

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – A Special Reserve Police (SRP) officer in Trinidad and Tobago has been charged with forgery and misbehaviour in public office after she submitted copies of invalid certificates purportedly obtained from the Barbados-based Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC).A police statement said that WPC Lauren Thomas has also been charged with uttering a forged document and will appear before the Port of Spain North Criminal Court on Wednesday.
