A 68-year-old woman was rescued from the ocean at New Smyrna Beach in Florida after being found floating face down and unresponsive on Saturday morning. Deputies who responded around 10:15 a.m. pulled her to shore with help from a bystander and immediately began CPR after discovering she had no pulse. She was successfully revived at the scene before being taken to a hospital in stable condition. Authorities credited quick-thinking beachgoers and deputies for the life-saving response.
