Amazon expands LTL freight service across the U.S., allowing businesses to ship palletized freight outside its network.

Shippers can now use the e-commerce giant’s network to deliver freight to third-party sites, the company announced Wednesday.

"Businesses of all sizes can now use LTL to move freight, typically ranging from one to six pallets, or between 150 and 15,000 pounds."

Amazon has been spinning out more of its in-house logistics offerings for others to access, posing a growing threat to industry incumbents.
