Accused Bondi terror attack gunman Naveed Akram has been hit with a series of new charges.

Akram's defence lawyer Leonie Gittani told a Sydney court on Wednesday that paperwork for 19 additional charges had been filed.

Naveed Akram was already facing 59 charges after the shooting at a Jewish festival at Bondi Beach last December.
