Dangerous chargers were acquired from Amazon, AliExpress, B&Q Marketplace, Debenhams Marketplace and eBay, with one customer reporting a fake charger ruined their iPad and phone. Which? and Electrical Safety First are urging the government to update product safety legislation, imposing a clear legal duty on online marketplaces to ensure the safety of products sold by third-party sellers.
