Bepirovirsen demonstrates 20% functional cure rate in chronic hepatitis B

Significantly more patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection achieved functional cure at week 72 after treatment with bepirovirsen than placebo, according to study results.Findings from the phase 3 B-Well 1 and B-Well 2 trials were simultaneously presented at EASL Congress and published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
