The DMK party has clarified remarks made by its chief, M K Stalin, regarding the current TVK government's survival. Stalin's comments about the government not lasting more than three months were not an attempt to dissolve or topple it. Instead, the DMK states, he highlighted the government's precarious condition amidst rising crime and public unrest.

Stalin had earlier said that TVK rode to power largely through social media platforms such as Instagram and lacked a strong organisational structure. | India News
