Lawyers for a young man who fatally stabbed a competitor at a Texas high school track meet are calling more witnesses as a trial enters a second week.

The judge issued a stern warning to the public in the courtroom and at least three people were removed from the courthouse in the trial that has drawn national attention.

Racial divisions around the case have propelled it to the national forefront, with the Black teen accused of killing a white fellow high schooler.
