NCR plan keeps Aravali safeguards after long debate

The National Capital Region's Regional Plan 2041 will keep the Natural Conservation Zone. This protects the Aravali ecosystem and sensitive areas. Haryana's proposal to change the zone was rejected. Existing rules for these zones will continue. States will now identify these natural features. The plan also projects population growth and infrastructure development.
