DDMA meeting: Delhi LG Sandhu asks to explore inducting ex-Agniveers to strengthen fire dept

Delhi Fire Services may soon recruit former Agniveers to fill staff vacancies. This suggestion came during a Delhi Disaster Management Authority meeting chaired by Lt Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu. The meeting reviewed fire safety measures and preparedness following recent tragedies. The LG also stressed zero tolerance for flooding during the monsoon.
