Litgrid, Gijos plan 32-MW connection to flexibly use power for heat

Litgrid, the Lithuanian power transmission system operator, and the Vilnius city energy infrastructure company Gijos have signed a letter of intent to connect 32 MW of electrical equipment to the transmission grid with the aim of turning excess electricity into heat for the city.
