A new "AI assistant" with a "CV builder" feature will be trialled online for approximately three months, offering 24/7 guidance on career development and job applications, envisioned as a "jobcentre in your pocket". Technology Secretary Liz Kendall announced measures including AI and tech training for 400,000 schoolchildren in disadvantaged areas and an AI "bootcamp scheme" to be rolled out across England over the summer for those at risk of unemployment.
