Pithoragarh sadhu returns home: A man who disappeared from his Uttarakhand village as a teenager returned home after 46 years as a sadhu to fulfil a sacred promise. Now known as Buddh Nath, he sought alms from his elderly mother, Nandi Devi, in accordance with a spiritual obligation he said was instructed by his late guru, before resuming his life as a renunciant.
