Ms Saludin survived without food, sustaining herself by drinking water collected in pitcher plants. A search and rescue operation was launched on 25 May, and she was eventually located on 6 June near an Orang Asli village. Ms Saludin apologised for causing trouble, while her husband thanked all involved in the extensive search efforts.
