'Direct contradiction of CBSE governing body's own decision': Jairam Ramesh raises concerns over introducing third language in schools

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has urged the government to withdraw a new notification. This notification makes a third language compulsory for Class 9 and 10 students from July 1, 2026. Ramesh stated the decision is arbitrary and unplanned. He highlighted it contradicts previous CBSE decisions. The move aims to teach two native Indian languages.
