Kenya Power has introduced a dedicated e-mobility tariff aimed at providing affordable charging rates for EV owners.

The landscape of the Kenyan automotive market is set to witness a major shift following the importation of the first premium luxury Electric Vehicles through the port of Mombasa.

The shift follows Ethiopia’s new e-mobility strategy, aiming for EVs to make up 80 percent of new vehicle registrations by 2030, up from 8 percent today.
