World number 114 Maja Chwalinska says she hopes her run from qualifying all the way to the French Open final can be "inspiring" for other players outside the top 100.

Maja Chwalinska of Poland became just the second qualifier to reach a Grand Slam singles final in the Open Era when she beat Diana Shnaider of Russia 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Chwalińska, the world No. 114, has the opportunity to become the second Grand Slam champion qualifier in history.
