Bengal to probe vandalism during 2019 anti-CAA protests

The West Bengal government will investigate violence that occurred during the 2019 anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has ordered the state police chief to look into allegations of vandalism and arson. A special police cell will be formed to examine complaints regarding the destruction of government property during the demonstrations.
