Daniel Levy has sold the majority of his shares in the parent company of Tottenham Hotspur to Eight Sports Capital.

Former chairman Levy stepped down from Spurs last September

Levy spent 24 years running Spurs on a day-to-day basis until he was removed from his position in September by the Lewis family.

On Friday, a vehicle named Eight Sports Capital announced it had agreed terms on a deal that would see it take 24.99 per cent of the Spurs former chairman's 29.88 holding.
