TMC's Ramesh Patra arrested at Jangipara in Hooghly for alleged multi-crore fraud using political influence

Hooghly police have apprehended TMC leader Ramesh Patra following a complaint of fraud and intimidation. Patra allegedly promised government benefits to a local businessman, collecting approximately Rs 29 lakh in cash and online transfers.
