WASHINGTON: The US military said it carried out strikes on Iranian radar sites on Friday after Iran launched four attack drones toward the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on social media, the US Central Command said all of the Iranian one-way attack drone were shot down. “The attack drones posed an immediate threat to regional maritime traffic,” CENTCOM said. US forces subsequently struck Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island to defend against further attacks, the post added.
