A truck-driving preacher helped save a woman from an alleged kidnapping attempt. On 29 May, Anthony J. Moore, 53, was driving down a route in Aiken County, Georgia, when a woman with her hands tied ran out in front of his vehicle. Dashcam footage shows the woman approaching the truck, whilst an “angry-looking” man in a Cadillac pulled up beside Mr Moore. “Please help me, he's trying to kidnap me,” the woman said. The man allegedly showed Mr Moore a badge and claimed that he was with law enforcement. He then drove away. “I just see it as a divine assignment from God, because had not I been there with the dashcam ... they probably wouldn’t have caught the footage that needed to be catched,” Mr Moore said. Jonathan Willard, 39, of New Ellenton, was arrested on one count each of kidnapping and impersonation of a law enforcement officer.
