Trains in Switzerland are now running over solar panels in a world-first clean energy test

Trains pass through the small Swiss village of Buttes many times a day. For the passengers, it appears as though it is nothing out of the ordinary; they probably do not realise that the tracks beneath them are part of an experiment that could test a new way to use railway space for renewable energy.
