Patients with pancreatic cancer who have “ultra-low baseline values” of a biomarker used for prognosis have similar survival as those who have the highest levels and are considered to have the worst outcomes.A dual-threshold model found PFS and OS did not differ for patients who had cancer antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) levels less than 7 U/mL or greater than 200 U/mL.
