Economist Neelkanth Mishra has been appointed as India's executive director at the World Bank Group, succeeding Parameswaran Iyer. Mishra, a former part-time member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council and chief economist at Axis Bank, will serve a three-year term.
