Rajnath approves over 2-fold increase in financial ceiling for field commanders to boost operational efficiency

This move aims to enhance operational efficiency, expedite contract conclusion, and boost indigenous defence capabilities. The revision also includes provisions for joint service procurement and decentralizes decision-making for goods and services.
