Police bodycam footage shows Henry Nowak was handcuffed and dying, with an officer initially disbelieving his claim of being stabbed. Digwa told police that Mr Nowak was drunk, attacked him and removed his turban, prompting his actions. The judge, William Mousley KC, stated that Mr Nowak was not drunk, despite Digwa's claims. Vickrum Digwa was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years for Mr Nowak's murder at Southampton Crown Court.
