Art Beyond the Edge

Can we imagine today art making “revolution irresistible”? The means to produce, distribute and consume art has never been more democratized, yet can art aesthetically palatable enough to reach the masses escape cooptation, appropriation, and/or censorship by corporations and governments? Based on 25 years of collaborative art, research and activism, I offer a new vocabulary and rubric for analyzing and creating politically powerful art that mobilizes people towards meaningful direct action
