Manchester man accused of signing documents as fake doctor and JP granted $600,000 bail

A Manchester man accused of misrepresenting himself as a medical doctor as well as a Justice of the Peace and signing motor vehicle and other documents was today granted $600,000 bail in the parish court.Marvin Dean, 46, of Cross Keys, is charged with impersonating a Justice of the Peace, impersonating a doctor, unlawful possession of forged documents, forging the seal of a notary public, uttering a forged seal, possession of a forged stamp, cheating the public revenue, forgery, conspiracy, obtaining money by means of false pretence, and attempted bribery.
