The Prince of Wales poured himself a pint at a pub in Peckham as he made a surprise visit to the south London boozer. Footage shows Prince William behind the bar at the aptly named Prince of Peckham, pouring a pint which he dubbed “pretty good”. William met with both regulars and newcomers at the popular bar that is trying to bring the community together over a cup of tea with its 'Chatty Patty' programme. "I love pubs. I want to do as much as I can to support them because I love the community. We need to protect our pubs,” he told a group participating in the programme.

Prince William surprised local residents and pub goers in SE15 this afternoon as he visited The Prince of Peckham pub in South East London.

The Prince of Wales has spent a busy day travelling around South East London for a number of engagements, as he told regulars in the Prince of Peckham that he "grew up in pubs"
