Patients whose doctors recommend AREDS2 supplements show slower AMD lesion growth

DENVER — Three biomarkers of age-related macular degeneration lesion growth were significantly reduced over 1 year in patients whose doctors recommended AREDS2 supplementation, according to a study presented here. The study was based on longitudinal data in patients with AMD, collected since 2019 by Character Biosciences, and presented at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology
