He was questioned by 9News anchor Kyle Clark about a previous claim that his stepfather forced him to kill a man when he was seven years old. After a 10-second silence, Mr Marx confirmed the childhood killing but added that 'possibly people - or persons - died' as a result of him defending himself in other countries as an adult. When asked directly if he had killed people as an adult, the Marine veteran responded by asking, 'Does it matter?' Mr Marx is currently competing against Colorado Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer and Representative Scott Bottoms in the GOP primary.
