Finnish authorities have seized €3.7 million in Russian state funds as part of efforts to compensate Ukraine’s state energy company Naftogaz for losses linked to Russia’s actions in occupied Crimea.

The National Enforcement Authority has seized 3.7 million euros to compensate a Ukrainian energy firm for Russian destruction of its property.

According to the broadcaster, the funds in question amount to 3.7 mln euro that Russia transferred to Finland before 2022 under the EU cross-border cooperation program
