West Bengal to observe state day on June 20 from this year

The West Bengal government will now officially celebrate June 20 as West Bengal Day. This decision was announced after a cabinet meeting. Previously, the day was observed on Poila Boisakh. The government also plans year-long programs to celebrate Syama Prasad Mookerjee's birth anniversary. The Maa Ahaar scheme will expand its reach to more locations.
