Private equity baron Joel Thickins is alleged to have crashed his BMW into five cars in Sydney's east, before refusing two alcohol-detecting breath tests.

Thickins, who is TPG Capital’s head of country in Australia and co-head of TPG Asia, allegedly collided with a Mazda, then crashed into another four parked cars on Monday.
